A leading hospitality organization in Dubai is seeking an experienced Credit Manager – Finance & Accounts to oversee credit management operations, minimize financial risk, and ensure timely collection of outstanding receivables. The successful candidate will develop effective credit policies, monitor customer accounts, and collaborate with internal departments to maintain healthy cash flow while supporting business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the organization’s credit control process and ensure compliance with approved credit policies.
  • Evaluate customer credit applications and determine appropriate credit limits.
  • Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on overdue payments to improve collection efficiency.
  • Prepare regular reports on outstanding balances, aging analysis, bad debts, and collection performance.
  • Coordinate with sales, finance, and operations teams to resolve billing and payment-related issues.
  • Review customer payment history and recommend appropriate credit actions.
  • Reduce financial risk through effective credit monitoring and account management.
  • Ensure timely reconciliation of customer accounts and resolve discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and support month-end closing activities.
  • Assist in audits and ensure compliance with company policies, financial regulations, and internal controls.
  • Identify opportunities to improve credit processes and enhance operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Professional qualifications such as CA, ACCA, CPA, CMA, or CIMA are an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of credit management, accounts receivable, and financial reporting.

Experience Required

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in credit management, finance, or accounts receivable, preferably within the hospitality, hotel, retail, or service industry.
  • Experience working with ERP systems and financial management software.
  • Knowledge of UAE financial practices and hospitality operations is preferred.
