Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Engineer to lead engineering projects from planning through final handover. The successful candidate will oversee project execution, coordinate with multiple stakeholders, ensure quality and safety compliance, and deliver projects on schedule and within budget. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in project engineering, MEP, infrastructure, or facility management.

- Plan, organize, and manage engineering projects throughout the entire project lifecycle.
- Prepare and maintain project schedules, budgets, resource plans, and work programs.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure smooth project execution.
- Ensure all activities comply with project specifications, contractual obligations, company policies, quality standards, and health & safety regulations.
- Review engineering documents, technical submissions, work methodologies, and project-related reports.
- Identify technical issues, resolve site challenges, and support effective design coordination.
- Track project costs, monitor variations, evaluate contractor performance, and provide technical input during procurement activities.
- Supervise inspections, testing, commissioning, snag rectification, and final project handover documentation.
- Prepare regular progress reports, project updates, risk assessments, and performance metrics for management.
- Support continuous process improvements and facilitate a seamless transition of completed projects to operations or facility management teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
- At least 6–9 years of professional project engineering experience, including 3–4 years in a senior-level or supervisory position.
- Practical experience in Facility Management, MEP, infrastructure, construction, or industrial engineering projects.
- Familiarity with CAFM or CMMS software will be considered an added advantage.
- Good understanding of UAE engineering regulations, quality assurance procedures, health & safety standards, and facility management best practices.
