We are looking for an experienced Fiber Laser Cutting Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team in Dubai, UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC fiber laser cutting machines to produce high-quality sheet metal components with precision and efficiency. This role requires a strong understanding of engineering drawings, CNC operations, quality standards, and workplace safety.

- Set up and operate CNC fiber laser cutting machines according to production schedules and engineering specifications.
- Load machine programs, adjust cutting parameters, and select the correct tooling and consumables for each job.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, nesting layouts, and production instructions to ensure accurate cutting and dimensional compliance.
- Prepare sheet metal materials by measuring, positioning, and securing workpieces before production.
- Monitor machine performance during operation and make necessary adjustments to maintain product quality and cutting efficiency.
- Perform routine cleaning, preventive maintenance, and basic troubleshooting of laser equipment and CNC controls.
- Conduct first-piece and in-process inspections using precision measuring tools such as verniers, calipers, and micrometers.
- Record production data, material consumption, and quality inspection results accurately.
- Collaborate with production, quality, maintenance, and CAD/CAM teams to improve productivity, reduce material waste, and optimize cutting performance.
- Follow company health, safety, and quality procedures at all times.
Requirements
- Diploma, technical qualification, or relevant experience in manufacturing, fabrication, or mechanical engineering.
- At least 2 years of experience operating CNC Fiber Laser Cutting Machines in a manufacturing environment.
- Good knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes and materials, including mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and work with production documentation.
- Familiarity with laser cutting parameters, consumables, assist gases, and CNC machine operations.
- Experience performing machine maintenance and troubleshooting is an advantage.
- Knowledge of automated material handling systems and CNC storage solutions is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and commitment to workplace safety.
