We are hiring an experienced Instrumentation Maintenance Technician to join a leading industrial organization in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, calibrating, and repairing instrumentation and control systems to ensure reliable plant operations and minimize equipment downtime.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on instrumentation and control equipment.
- Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize production interruptions.
- Inspect, diagnose, and troubleshoot faults in instrumentation and automation systems.
- Install, repair, calibrate, and test industrial instruments and control devices.
- Ensure all maintenance work complies with company safety procedures and operational standards.
- Plan maintenance activities by identifying the required tools, spare parts, and resources.
- Use SAP or other computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) to record maintenance activities and request spare parts.
- Monitor recurring equipment issues and recommend long-term corrective solutions.
- Support equipment modifications and improvement projects to enhance plant reliability.
- Assist in troubleshooting PLC-based control systems and industrial automation equipment.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, technical manuals, and maintenance documentation.
- Mentor junior technicians by providing technical guidance and sharing best maintenance practices.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including workplace safety, quality enhancement, and operational excellence programs.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Provide technical support to other departments whenever required.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma in Instrumentation, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Completion of PEC Craft Training is preferred.
Experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in instrumentation maintenance within a heavy industrial, manufacturing, power generation, oil & gas, metals, or smelter environment.
- Candidates who have successfully completed PEC Craft Training may be considered without prior work experience, depending on company requirements.
