We are seeking a skilled Senior Electrical Technician to join a leading engineering and maintenance team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems, supporting plant reliability, and ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance on electrical equipment and plant systems.
- Diagnose electrical faults and carry out repairs to minimize equipment downtime.
- Support scheduled shutdowns by completing maintenance work within planned timelines.
- Assist in troubleshooting complex electrical issues and recommend effective long-term solutions.
- Inspect, test, and maintain electrical systems to ensure reliable plant performance.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, technical manuals, and maintenance procedures.
- Coordinate with engineers, operations teams, and maintenance personnel to ensure smooth plant operations.
- Plan manpower, tools, spare parts, and materials required for assigned maintenance activities.
- Ensure all maintenance work complies with OEM recommendations and internationally recognized engineering standards.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and submit work completion reports.
- Follow all company quality, health, safety, and environmental (QHSE) procedures.
- Promote a safe working environment by identifying hazards and complying with workplace safety regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering or another relevant engineering discipline.
- Candidates with at least 2 years of practical electrical maintenance experience may also be considered.
Experience
- Experience working in power generation, utilities, desalination plants, industrial facilities, or heavy manufacturing is preferred.
- Practical knowledge of combined cycle gas turbine (CCGT) plants and auxiliary equipment is an advantage.
- Hands-on experience with preventive maintenance, fault diagnosis, and electrical troubleshooting.
