The successful candidate will play a key role in developing and improving the organization’s compliance monitoring framework. You will work closely with business units, technology teams, and senior management to identify compliance risks, evaluate internal controls, and ensure policies and regulatory requirements are consistently followed across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

As a Manager – Compliance Monitoring, your responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive compliance monitoring framework across the organization.
  • Create risk-based monitoring plans to assess compliance within operational processes and customer-facing activities.
  • Perform compliance testing, control reviews, walkthroughs, sampling exercises, and thematic assessments.
  • Identify compliance issues, analyze root causes, and recommend practical corrective actions.
  • Monitor the implementation of agreed action plans and ensure timely resolution of findings.
  • Collaborate with Technology and Data teams to automate monitoring activities through dashboards, reporting tools, and control alerts.
  • Analyze monitoring data to identify trends and prepare meaningful reports for senior leadership.
  • Ensure monitoring activities comply with company policies, governance standards, and applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by enhancing compliance procedures, internal controls, and employee awareness programs.

Required Qualifications

Applicants should possess:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Law, Risk Management, Accounting, or another related field.
  • A Master’s degree or professional certifications in compliance, audit, or risk management will be considered an advantage.
  • Between 7 and 10 years of experience in compliance monitoring, governance, enterprise risk, or internal audit.
  • Strong understanding of compliance frameworks and internal control methodologies.
  • Experience conducting investigations, documenting evidence, and preparing compliance reports.
  • Knowledge of data analytics, business intelligence tools, and automated monitoring solutions.
  • Excellent analytical thinking, communication, stakeholder management, and project coordination skills.
  • High ethical standards, integrity, and attention to detail.
