Planning Executive – Sales S&D Jobs in Dubai
A leading FMCG organization in Dubai is seeking a skilled Planning Executive – Sales S&D to support demand planning, sales forecasting, and supply chain coordination. This position is ideal for professionals with experience in demand planning, inventory management, and Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP).
The successful candidate will collaborate with sales, marketing, finance, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to create accurate demand forecasts, improve inventory performance, and ensure products are available to meet customer demand while optimizing operational efficiency.
Job Responsibilities
Demand Planning & Forecasting
- Prepare accurate sales demand forecasts using historical data, market trends, and business insights.
- Analyze customer demand patterns and update forecasts regularly to improve planning accuracy.
- Monitor forecast performance and recommend improvements based on actual sales results.
- Document planning assumptions, risks, and growth opportunities.
Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP)
- Support the monthly Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process.
- Coordinate demand review meetings with sales, marketing, finance, and supply chain teams.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and performance analyses for management reviews.
- Ensure demand forecasts align with business objectives and operational capabilities.
Supply Chain Coordination
- Work closely with supply planning and manufacturing teams to balance customer demand with production capacity.
- Communicate updated sales forecasts to support inventory and production planning.
- Help resolve supply constraints and recommend practical solutions.
- Coordinate planning activities for new product launches and promotional campaigns.
Inventory & Performance Management
- Monitor inventory levels to reduce stock shortages and excess inventory.
- Identify slow-moving or obsolete products and support inventory optimization initiatives.
- Analyze forecast accuracy and inventory performance using key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Recommend actions to improve inventory turnover and minimize product expiry risks.
Business Analysis & Continuous Improvement
- Evaluate the performance of sales promotions and marketing campaigns.
- Generate reports to support strategic planning and business decisions.
- Identify opportunities to improve forecasting accuracy and planning processes.
- Promote continuous improvement across demand planning and supply chain operations.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, International Business, or a related field.
- MBA in Supply Chain Management or a similar specialization is preferred.
- Experience in demand planning, sales forecasting, supply chain, or inventory management.
- Previous experience in an FMCG environment will be an added advantage.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of demand planning and sales forecasting techniques.
- Understanding of Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes.
- Experience with inventory management and supply chain operations.
