Al-Futtaim Automotive is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Branch Accountant to join its Finance team in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the daily financial activities of a multi-brand automotive branch, including showroom, service center, and spare parts operations.

This role focuses on maintaining accurate financial records, processing branch transactions, supporting financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards. Key Responsibilities

Financial Operations

  • Process and verify branch invoices while ensuring pricing, approvals, and supporting documents are accurate.
  • Monitor customer payments, receipts, and banking transactions to ensure proper financial recording.
  • Maintain petty cash, cash collections, customer refunds, cheque records, and daily cash reconciliation.
  • Support financial reporting by preparing branch accounting data and operational reports.
  • Follow up on outstanding customer payments and assist with accounts receivable activities.

Accounting and Documentation

  • Maintain accurate accounting records for invoices, cancellations, collections, refunds, and financial transactions.
  • Ensure all financial documents comply with company policies and internal procedures.
  • Assist in maintaining audit-ready documentation for finance and compliance purposes.

Financial Control and Compliance

  • Support internal and external audit activities by providing accurate financial information.
  • Identify discrepancies, unusual transactions, or process gaps and report them to management.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting procedures, internal controls, and company financial policies.

Collaboration

  • Work closely with finance teams, branch managers, cashiers, credit control, and operational departments.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to resolve financial issues and improve branch accounting processes.
  • Contribute to process improvements that enhance financial efficiency and operational accuracy.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in branch accounting or financial operations.
  • Previous experience within the automotive dealership or retail industry is an advantage.
  • Good working knowledge of SAP ERP or similar accounting software.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
