Key Responsibilities
- Create, monitor, and manage purchase orders in accordance with company policies and approved budgets.
- Source reliable suppliers and obtain competitive quotations for goods and services.
- Coordinate with vendors to confirm pricing, lead times, and delivery schedules.
- Work closely with internal departments to understand purchasing requirements and technical specifications.
- Track procurement activities and provide regular updates on order status and expected delivery dates.
- Prepare procurement documents, purchase requisitions, and quotation comparisons for approval.
- Verify supplier invoices by matching them with purchase orders and delivery records.
- Maintain accurate supplier information, contracts, and procurement documentation within the ERP system.
- Assist with supplier onboarding, compliance verification, and contract documentation.
- Support procurement reporting, spend analysis, and cost optimization initiatives.
- Coordinate product returns, warranty claims, and replacement requests with suppliers.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, ethical sourcing standards, and applicable regulations.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of procurement and purchasing processes.
- Experience in supplier sourcing, vendor management, and purchase order administration.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word.
- Experience using ERP or procurement management software is an advantage.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you should have:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain coordination.
- Practical understanding of purchase-to-pay (P2P) processes and supplier management.
- Experience working with procurement systems or ERP software is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build productive relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
