Responsible for achieving and maintaining HSSEQ KPIs and performance standards.
Key Responsibilities

Serve as the key interface between MCV and Group management for all HSSEQ-related matters.

Represent the company in client meetings, government authority interactions, and external HSSE forums.

Lead and mentor the HSSE team to deliver effective, high-value support across internal functions and external engagements.

Foster a positive safety culture through visible leadership and continuous performance improvement.

Define and track annual KPIs aligned with both Group and Regional HSSEQ targets.

Participate in shore-based and onboard safety meetings to drive proactive safety discussions and leadership engagement.

Conduct HSSEQ inductions for new and existing employees and crew.

Promote and uphold the company’s safety culture at all operational levels.

Facilitate active employee engagement on HSE matters to support open communication and continuous improvement.

Contribute to HSE meetings, audits, and inspections.

Promote the application of the Company’s Control of Work processes and safe operating practices.

Implement the Company’s Self-Verification Program (SVP), supporting Group KPIs and local improvement initiatives.

Ensure timely and accurate submission of monthly regional performance data to the Group HSSEQ department.

Collaborate on the analysis of performance data and implement corrective or enhancement measures as needed.

Monitor and address trends in HSSEQ performance through effective action plans.

Ensure timely and accurate submission of client-requested performance data.
Minimum Qualifications
-
Professional qualification or certification in a QHSSE-related field
-
NEBOSH certification preferred
-
Designated Person Ashore (DPA) and Company Security Officer (CSO) qualifications are an advantage
Experience Requirements
-
Minimum of 5 years of experience in the development and execution of QHSE programs, ideally within offshore supply vessel operations
-
Proven track record of engaging with clients on HSE topics and contributing to a strong safety culture

Experience as a mariner is preferred
Key Skills and Competencies
-
Certified internal auditor for ISO 45001:2018, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 9001:2015, and OHSAS 18001
-
Experienced in leading incident investigations

Strong understanding of statutory bodies (Class, Flag, Port State) and regulatory compliance
-
In-depth knowledge of ISM and ISPS codes, and other standards including MLC, MARPOL, SOLAS, ISO, and OHSAS
-
Skilled in client-facing roles related to HSE management and implementation
-
Excellent communication and leadership skills focused on upholding HSE standards
