We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Department Manager / Duty Manager to oversee daily operations, team performance, and customer satisfaction within a fast-paced retail environment in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This leadership role involves managing staff, optimizing sales performance, maintaining visual standards, and ensuring exceptional service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
✅ Customer Service Excellence

Coach and guide the team daily to deliver outstanding customer service at the department level.

Act as a customer service champion—supporting, training, and developing the team to provide a world-class shopping experience.

Address customer feedback and ensure timely follow-up and resolution within the department.

Engage with customers on the floor, ensuring a welcoming, knowledgeable, and helpful shopping environment.
✅ Store Operations

Oversee and execute opening and closing procedures of the store in line with company standards.

Plan and manage staff coverage to ensure all store operations are smooth and efficient.

Implement and maintain company visual merchandising standards and store layouts.

Conduct daily floor walks, drive sales through coaching, and optimize performance with a focus on conversion and basket value.

Ensure all safety, cash handling, and operational procedures are strictly followed in line with company SOPs.
✅ People & Performance Management

Onboard and train new hires, ensuring full induction and role clarity.

Conduct regular Performance Development Reviews (PDRs) and address HR issues promptly and professionally.

Lead by example, resolving conflicts and motivating team members to exceed performance expectations.

Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and development opportunities for team growth.
Required Skills & Experience
