As a key member of the Application Delivery and Support team, this role is responsible for providing technical leadership and expertise in the development, deployment, and ongoing support of e-commerce solutions—primarily built on the Kibo Commerce platform. The role requires hands-on solution delivery, stakeholder engagement, and team leadership to ensure high-quality, scalable, and sustainable outcomes.
The successful candidate will oversee both internal and external development resources, drive solution design and implementation, and play a pivotal role in enhancing system capabilities. This role combines technical acumen with strong organisational and leadership skills, supporting the full lifecycle of retail technology solutions from concept through delivery and beyond.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate development and support activities across internal teams and external consultants.

Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure timely completion of deliverables across multiple workstreams.

Provide technical consultation, solution design, troubleshooting, and application setup for Kibo-based retail applications.

Ensure adherence to DevOps frameworks and best practices in software development and maintenance.

Maintain technical documentation for all customizations, enhancements, and integrations.

Collaborate with software vendors and Change Management teams for issue resolution and change deployments.

Enforce compliance with IT policies, security protocols, and internal control frameworks.

Guide project teams through the development, testing, and deployment phases of Kibo solutions.

Estimate and deliver project work and change requests on time and within scope, ensuring high-quality standards.

Mentor and support team members by providing guidance, conducting performance evaluations (with managers), and fostering continuous improvement.

Develop team capabilities and maintain bench strength to meet future business and project needs.

Priority support and development resources according to business demands and project timelines.
Required Skills & Experience

Demonstrated experience leading development teams and managing end-to-end e-commerce projects.

Strong technical expertise in the Kibo Order Management System and Unified Commerce Platforms.

Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high-performance e-commerce solutions.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Familiarity with ITSM processes, including problem and change management.

Experience coaching and mentoring teams, with a focus on knowledge transfer and technical upskilling.

Proficiency in documenting technical solutions and system architectures.
Qualifications & Preferred Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

8+ years of experience in e-commerce development, with deep expertise in the Kibo Commerce platform (certification preferred).

Hands-on experience in at least 3–4 complex retail implementations.

Exposure to other e-commerce platforms (Magento, Shopify, Salesforce Commerce Cloud) is a plus.

Strong understanding of web technologies across front-end and back-end stacks.

Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies and tools such as JIRA.

Knowledge of SEO, web analytics, and digital marketing practices.

Retail domain knowledge is highly desirable.
