Job Description: IT Support Specialist
We are seeking a dedicated IT Support Specialist to join our team and deliver top-tier technical support to our users. As the first line of IT customer support, you will handle requests through phone, email, and chat, ensuring issues are resolved efficiently and professionally.
Key Responsibilities:

Serve as the initial point of contact for end-users, providing technical support via phone, email, or chat.

Diagnose and resolve hardware and software problems using remote tools to deliver real-time solutions.

Accurately log and update support requests in the ticketing system to ensure visibility, performance tracking, and knowledge sharing.

Escalate complex technical issues to senior IT staff with detailed information to support faster resolutions.

Conduct follow-ups with users to confirm resolution and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.

Assist in onboarding new employees by setting up workstations, installing required software, and offering basic training.

Maintain IT asset inventory, including hardware and software tracking, to support availability and compliance.

Promote best practices in IT security and educate users on safe computing habits to reduce risk.

Contribute to team meetings by sharing insights on recurring issues and recommending improvements to support workflows.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

1–3 years of experience in IT support, helpdesk, or a similar IT customer support role.

Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot effectively in dynamic, high-paced environments.

Strong working knowledge of Windows and Mac OS platforms.

Fluent in English; additional language skills are a plus.
