In this role, your primary responsibility will be to perform dealership services on customer vehicles according to company standards. You will focus on ensuring high-quality work, enhancing productivity, and maintaining technical efficiency, all while contributing to the workshop’s revenue generation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out regular maintenance services on customer vehicles.
  • Perform minor repairs with a focus on maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Complete all job cards accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Provide customers with cost estimates for any additional service work needed.
  • Conduct final inspections following the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
  • Meet or exceed efficiency and productivity targets set for the role.
  • Ensure accurate recording of hours by promptly punching in and out.
  • Complete required training courses, internal assessments, and on-the-job training as scheduled by the Training Manager.
  • Obtain certification in accordance with the principal’s guidelines.
  • Prepare for and participate in annual skills contests.

Essential Skills for Success:

  • Automotive Parts Knowledge: Understanding of automotive components and their functions.
  • Technical Expertise: Hands-on technical experience in vehicle servicing and repairs.
  • Dealership Experience: Prior experience working in an automotive dealership environment.
  • Workshop Proficiency: Familiarity with workshop procedures and operations.

Team Structure:

You will report to the Workshop Supervisor and collaborate closely with the workshop team.

Qualifications for the Role:

  • ITI or Diploma in Automobile Engineering.
  • 1 to 2 years of experience as a Technician in an automotive dealership.
  • Strong technical skills relevant to vehicle maintenance and repair.
  • Basic computer literacy.
  • Proficiency in English.
