EXA Ceramics is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Draughtsman to join its team in Saudi Arabia. This opportunity is ideal for fresh graduates and candidates with 0 to 2 years of experience who have an interest in technical drawing, 2D drafting, 3D design, and construction-related design projects.
The selected candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed technical drawings, developing 3D design concepts, creating shop drawings, and supporting product proposal development according to project specifications and customer requirements.
The Draughtsman will work closely with the sales and project teams to understand project requirements, prepare accurate drawings, and ensure that proposed designs meet technical specifications and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Technical Drawing and Design Preparation
Prepare detailed technical drawings based on project specifications and customer requirements.
Develop shop drawings, elevations, sections, and layouts for construction and interior design projects.
Create accurate 2D drawings and technical design plans.
Review project specifications and ensure drawings meet the required technical standards.
Update drawings based on design changes, customer feedback, and project requirements.
Maintain proper documentation and records of technical drawings.
2. 3D Design and Visualization
Develop 3D models and perspectives to illustrate product designs and spatial arrangements.
Prepare 3D visualizations to help customers and project teams understand proposed designs.
Convert design concepts and project requirements into detailed visual representations.
Support the development of creative and practical design solutions.
Ensure accuracy and consistency between 2D technical drawings and 3D models.
3. Product Proposal Development
Prepare technical product proposals based on project specifications and customer requirements.
Develop drawings and design concepts demonstrating how EXA Ceramics products meet project needs.
Review product specifications and incorporate relevant technical details into proposals.
Coordinate with the sales team to prepare accurate design information for customer presentations.
Support the preparation of technical documents and product-related design proposals.
4. Sales and Project Coordination
Communicate with sales representatives to understand project requirements and specifications.
Collect relevant technical information, measurements, and design details for assigned projects.
Coordinate with internal teams to clarify drawing requirements and resolve technical questions.
Follow up on project updates and incorporate approved design modifications.
Ensure timely delivery of drawings and design documents to support sales and project activities.
5. Quality Control and Documentation
Check drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project specifications.
Ensure technical drawings follow approved design standards and company procedures.
Maintain organized drawing files, design records, and project documentation.
Identify drawing errors and make necessary corrections.
Follow established quality requirements and continuously improve drafting processes.
