In this role, you will be responsible for managing product merchandising across third-party online marketplaces and digital platforms, helping to drive online sales, improve customer experience, and support overall business growth.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of e-commerce operations, digital merchandising strategies, and online trading practices. You will work closely with marketing, supply chain, and product teams to ensure products are accurately displayed, promoted, and available to customers across multiple digital channels.
Key Responsibilities
Online Merchandising
- Manage product listings and merchandising activities across digital and third-party e-commerce platforms.
- Ensure product information, descriptions, images, and pricing are accurate and up to date.
- Create platform-specific product collections and merchandising strategies to enhance customer engagement.
Sales Performance & Revenue Growth
- Monitor product performance, stock availability, and sales trends.
- Identify opportunities to increase online revenue and improve product visibility.
- Support initiatives that drive traffic, conversions, and customer retention.
Product Listing Optimization
- Optimize product content to improve search visibility and customer experience.
- Coordinate with internal teams to launch new products and update existing listings.
- Ensure all product information meets marketplace requirements and company standards.
Promotions & Campaign Management
- Plan and execute promotional campaigns, seasonal events, and sales activities.
- Work with digital platform partners to secure promotional placements and visibility opportunities.
- Support marketing initiatives that contribute to online sales growth.
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Analyze sales reports, customer behavior, and market trends.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular performance updates.
- Use data-driven insights to improve merchandising strategies and business results.
Inventory & Order Coordination
- Collaborate with supply chain, logistics, and store operations teams.
- Ensure product availability and support efficient order fulfillment processes.
- Monitor inventory levels to reduce stock shortages and missed sales opportunities.
Market Research
- Stay informed about industry developments, competitor activities, and consumer trends.
- Recommend improvements to product offerings and merchandising strategies based on market insights.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with marketing, product, and operations teams to achieve business objectives.
- Share customer feedback and performance insights to support continuous improvement.
Required Skills
- Experience in online merchandising, e-commerce trading, or digital retail operations.
- Strong understanding of online marketplaces and e-commerce platforms.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing business priorities.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, E-commerce, or a related field.
- Previous experience in online merchandising or e-commerce is required.
- Experience within retail, consumer goods, or toy industry sectors is an advantage.
- Familiarity with sales reporting, data analysis, and digital merchandising best practices.
